After years in the financial services industry, my friends often come to me with financial questions. I meet with thousands of people on the road every year. Believe me when I tell you that there will be a personal debt crisis in this country at some point if people don’t learn how to manage their personal finances. I’ve been dying to bring this info public, and with the help of a pseudonym and some liquid courage (via local craft breweries), I’m going to impart my financial knowledge to you from hotel rooms across America.
I went through college, obtaining a Bachelors and Masters, in the days of predatory credit card lending. I had friends with no income and income from work study programs who were amassing large amounts of credit card debt and declaring bankruptcy in some cases. But, personal finance was a required course for my area of study. I remember taking the course and thinking “this should be part of every student’s basic required curriculum.”
And so now, I bring my knowledge to you.
